Viewing ImagesΒΆ

The CT Viewer organizes the DICOM files within unique series based on the DICOM information, making them easily accessible from the Viewer series panel.

CT and MR images are volumetric DICOM files. They are represented by a series of slices constructing a 3D body of the object. Each slice can be viewed as one 2D image of the entire 3D object. When vieweing the 3D body from the available planes via MPR (Multiplanar Reconstruction), only the 2D image from each plane is visible in the Viewer.

To scroll through all of the available slices of the 3D object loaded in each plane, use the mouse wheel while hovering over the image in the Viewer.

To scale or zoom the images in the views, hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and scroll up or down with the mouse wheel.

Maximize each of the available viewports by double-clicking on them with the assigned mouse button of the Default tool. Revert back to its original size by double-clicking on the viewport again.
