The Mouse Function Assignment Feature¶
To enhance the user workflow and make frequently used viewer tools easily accessible, the VisioVIEW Viewer allows users to assign specific functions to the standard mouse buttons. This features enables users to quickly switch between different tools without having to navigate through menus.
All of the measuring tools and some of the image transformation tools can be assigned to one of the three mouse buttons (Left click, Right click, and Middle scroll button), thus having three viewer tools active and available at the same time.
Assign Mouse Buttons to Functions¶
To assign mouse buttons to viewer functions and tools, simply select the tool by pressing it with the desired button. The active assignment is indicated by the mouse icon on top of the active selected tool. Change the mouse assignment by selecting a new tool. If the new tool already has a mouse button assigned, the button functions will be swapped.
The default mouse button assignments in the VisioVIEW Viewer are the following tools:
Left Click: Windowing (brightness and contrast) tool
Right Click: Zoom in tool
Middle Scroll Button: Move and pan image tool
