Viewer Series Panel¶
The Viewer Series Panel is located on the right side of the VisioVIEW Viewer, displaying all of the currently opened DICOM images in the active tab of the Viewer. All of the opened images in the Viewer are grouped based on their specific study. By default, the series panel is always expanded in the Viewer.
Toggle whether the series panel is expanded/collapsed by using the Expand/Collapse
icon located at the top of the series panel. When the series panel is collapsed, the study information about the current active image is
displayed in the panel.
To remove entire studies from the VisioVIEW Viewer, expand the series panel and press the x
icon located in the top right corner of each study group. All images related to that study will be removed from the series panel.
Remove individual series from the panel by using the x
icon in the top right corner of each image, visible when hovering over each image respectively.
Images opened in any of the available viewports in the VisioVIEW Viewer will not be fully opaque, easily differentiating them from the others.
The series number of each series is labeled in the bottom right corner of the preview representing the series.
Connection with Viewer Image Stack¶
The Viewer Series Panel is directly connected to the Viewer Image Stack available in the VisioVIEW Viewer. The active image in the current selected and active viewport is highlighted in the image stacks and in the series panel accordingly.
Users can also select images from the series panel and image stacks, which are also highlighted. To differentiate between active and selected images, the border around the selected image is thicker than the one of the active image.
When selecting an image from the series panel, if it is placed in one of the available viewports, it is automatically selected in the specific image stack as well, and vice versa. Both the series panel and the image stacks are repositioned accordingly so the selected image is always visible.
Additionally, the study information related to each image is also available from the image stacks, by hovering over the desired image.
