Worklists

DICOM Modality Worklists are an efficient way to communicate scheduled imaging procedures between two DICOM modalities communicating over the DICOM network. VisioVIEW offers users the ability to set up DICOM Worklists for each PACS server registered to the software. Configure the specific parameters defining a DICOM Worklist by following the information in this section.

To quickly fill out the related patient and study information when importing JPEG files, the configured server queries the specified DICOM modality on the network to retrieve the necessary worklist information. Users can choose one of the returned results to associate the new images with the appropriate patient.

GDT Configuration

The VisioVIEW software offers users the ability to set up a GDT configuration to load and open DICOM files from. Specify the GDT folder where the software listens for incoming GDT information files.

DICOM files that originate from GDT files can be updated and sent to the DICOM Worklist of the selected PACS server. To update the Worklist with the latest information about the studies, select the Resend to PMS... option of the context menu.
